Description
A New Perception plays with reality and illusion, drawing inspiration from the enchanting world of magical realism and, in particular, the work of René Magritte. Like Magritte, I explore the tension between the possible and the impossible, challenging established notions of truth.
Our perception of reality is shaped by unconscious processes that influence how we see and experience life. The house within the floating rock represents our mind and the identity we construct. It appears solid and immovable, but what happens when we look beyond the obvious? By shifting our perception, we can free ourselves from imposed limitations, discover new ways of seeing and experiencing the world, and ultimately transform our lives. — Merlijn van de Sande
